The ever growing start up, Glossier, is opening a new flagship location in Manhattan.  When you walk in to the store ,  there is a stairway with an arch that will lead you to upstairs. Climbing these stairs makes you feel like you are ascending to a soft pink castle that was designed for princesses. There are four rooms: a cashier area by the top of the stairway ,  a showroom ,  a try-out room with sinks and products to play with ,  and a room with giant mirrors and models of products to take pictures with.   Glossier is trying to help women feel more comfortable in their own skins, instead of using makeup as a "mask."  Its tagline — " Skin first .  Makeup second . Smile always" — speaks directly to this idea.  I especially love the cloud paint, lip gloss and haloscope....

Compared with Manhattan, a totally different view in rose hill refresh us. Our Rose Hill campus, in the north Bronx, is as idyllic as college campuses get: 85 acres featuring Gothic architecture and tree-lined walkways. There’s even more to it than that, as we’re right across the street from the incredibly lush New York Botanical Garden. You’ll find Fordham College at Rose Hill, the Gabelli School of Business, and graduate programs in Arts and Sciences, and Religion and Religious Education here.
