The ever growing start up, Glossier, is opening a new flagship location in Manhattan.  When you walk in to the store ,  there is a stairway with an arch that will lead you to upstairs. Climbing these stairs makes you feel like you are ascending to a soft pink castle that was designed for princesses. There are four rooms: a cashier area by the top of the stairway ,  a showroom ,  a try-out room with sinks and products to play with ,  and a room with giant mirrors and models of products to take pictures with.   Glossier is trying to help women feel more comfortable in their own skins, instead of using makeup as a "mask."  Its tagline — " Skin first .  Makeup second . Smile always" — speaks directly to this idea.  I especially love the cloud paint, lip gloss and haloscope....

Asian Jewels Seafood Restaurant 敦城海鲜酒家 13330 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354 Price: $$ Rating by Ashley:  ★★★☆ ☆ I came here with my roommate at 7pm after shopping. We didn’t have a reservation but lucky enough that some tables opened. The design of the restaurant is a little old, like the Chinese restaurant style in the 1980s. To be honest, I don’t like the dining environment in this restaurant, and the service is not enthusiastic enough. Dining Environment We got all the Dim Sum on the menu and ordered one Stir Fried Diced Beef w. Mango. I have tasted many Dim Sum restaurants, but I don’t think the Dim Sum provided by Asian Jewels Seafood Restaurant has something special. Dim Sum, Stir Fried Diced Beef w. Becco Can't miss the Italian restaurant 355 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036 Price: $$$ Rating by Ashley:  ★★★★☆ Love this place. My friend recommended this restaurant to me because he knew I love Italian food. I’ve tried at least 6 Italian restaurants since I came to New York. Becco is my favorite now! Been there twice and not disappointed. Although the inside of Becco is spacious, I really recommend you make a reservation because you can choose the table you liked and don’t need waste time waiting. Before you order, a bread basket will be served.  Bread Basket  My friend and I got Mussel appetizer. The mussel tasted fresh and juicy.  Mussel I got the Fish Soup and my friend had Osso Buco alla Becco. The Fish Soup is not a real soup but it has this amazing liquid in it that is so delicious.
