A must visit for anyone who loves food! One of my absolute favorite experiences in New York!! It has some of the hippest, coolest vendors from all over NYC - it was honestly SO difficult to decide what to eat. It can get crowded, so I'd recommend getting there early so you can beat the lines. (However, even if you are late the lines usually tend to move fairly fast) Also, remember to bring sufficient cash as all vendors take cash only.

Introduction

Smorgasburg is the largest weekly open-air food market in America, attracting 20,000-30,000 people to Brooklyn each weekend to eat from 100 local vendors. It launched May 21, 2011, as a spinoff of Brooklyn Flea (founded in 2008), and has since launched dozens of small businesses and attracted millions of visitors. The New York Times dubbed Smorgasburg “The Woodstock of Eating."
